On a recent family visit to Minnesota, I was able to photograph brilliant autumn colors at Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove.  There were spectacular displays of vibrant fall leaf  colors creating beautiful landscape photographs with all it’s explosion of fiery hues  ever seen.

In creating standout landscape photography of  fall color, it’s alway’s a good thing finding strong leading lines of a path, fence, bridge or road. This provide’s a perspective view  into a photograph by leading your eyes though out the image like a artist painting by the masters.

Lighting is important when searching ideal foliage walking through the woods on a mild and sunny day. At peak time it’s so nice to be out in the autumn clean fresh air day in all gorgeous fall colors seeking the best light for a powerful composition to photograph.
