Quick tips in successful fireworks photography: Use a sturdy tripod with a remote trigger or cable release. Preframe your image allowing space for fireworks. Choose a aperture around F11 and desired wide angle focal length if near fireworks. Use a shutter speed around 4-8 seconds. Set white balance to tungsten and low ISO around 100.
