Daytona Beach, Forida embraces its holiday season when it shows off it’s Christmas parades. You have to take a look on the Halifax River.
Up and down river they go, as the traditional holiday parade starts heading under all three main Daytona Beach bridges on the Halifax River to the starting point in everything from small motorboats to multimillion-dollar yachts.
Reflecting thousands of lights on the water create a unique holiday experience while passengers celebrate with speakers playing out holiday tunes.
Free to the public every December: Daytona Beach Christmas Boat Parade, Daytona Beach. The event starts on north side of the Seabreeze Bridge at dusk and parades south under the Main Street Bridge, ISB Bridge, Silver Beach Bridge before being judged at Halifax River Yacht Club. There are many viewing locations along the Halifax River, including the yacht club channel river bank, the dock on the channel next to Halifax River Marina, and north side of the entrance to the Daytona Marina and Boat Works. You best arrive early to find parking and prime viewing locations.
